He originated Gryphon’s platform investments in Accelerated Rehabilitation Centers, Delta Career Education and LeadAmerica. In addition to these three platform investments, John helped originate and close six follow-on acquisitions.
John lives in San Francisco.
Prior to Gryphon, John’s experience included:
- DB Capital Partners, Private Equity Investor – assisted with investments in Amkor Technology, Dyncorp, Kinetics, Strayer Education, and Sylvan Learning Systems.
- DB Alex Brown, Leveraged Finance – executed approximately $5 billion in debt and equity financings in technology, healthcare, education and general industrial companies.
- Alameda County Health Care Services Agency, Senior Manager – spearheading new program development within the healthcare services arena.
