Gryphon Junior Capital Makes Investment in North America Central School Bus
Gryphon Investors (“Gryphon”), a leading middle-market private investment firm, announced today that Gryphon Junior Capital has made an investment in North America Central School Bus (“NACSB” or the “Company”), a provider of student transportation services across North America, to support the Company’s growth initiatives. Additional terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Founded in 2004 and headquartered in Joliet, Illinois, NACSB is a leading provider of home-to-school transportation for both general and special education students, as well as charter services for school districts. The Company operates a fleet of more than 5,700 vehicles and travels over 50 million miles annually, transporting students to and from school and extracurricular activities. NACSB employs more than 6,000 individuals, including a dedicated network of drivers and monitors focused on delivering safe, reliable service. The Company is majority-owned by H.I.G. Capital, a leading global private equity firm based in Miami, FL.
