Wind River Environmental, LLC (“Wind River Environmental”), the nation’s leading provider of non-hazardous liquid waste solutions, announced today the acquisition of FRANC Environmental, Inc. (“FRANC Environmental”) in Ivyland, PA.
Serving the greater metropolitan Philadelphia area since 1998, FRANC Environmental is one of the largest and most respected liquid waste service providers in eastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey. It is owned and operated by the Dougherty and Ferrero families, both of which are well known stalwarts in the industry.
David Parry, Chief Executive Officer for Wind River Environmental, stated, “With its large base of commercial, municipal, and residential customers, FRANC Environmental is a perfect complement to our Kline’s, EarthCare, and Rosey’s operations throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.” He added, “We are especially excited to welcome the FRANC Environmental owners, as well as Matt Ferrero and Fran Dougherty Jr., to join our leadership team, as we learn from the FRANC Environmental leadership who developed the many great relationships they and their families have established through the years.”
On behalf of CFO Deb Dougherty and COO Fran Dougherty, FRANC Environmental CEO Tom Ferrero III stated “We are truly excited about the future with Wind River Environmental. Over many years, they have distinctly earned the reputation of being the industry leader. Wind River Environmental brings a new level of technology and resources that will strongly enhance our ability to service our customers in this demanding market.” He added, “Deb, Fran, and I want to thank our many loyal employees and customers for their support and partnership throughout the years.”
