Jef Rogers
Managing Director
Jef first joined Gryphon in 2002 and is currently a member of Gryphon’s Operational Resources Group. He focuses on underwriting and diligence of new Gryphon Heritage Group investments and partners with portfolio company management teams on value creation programs and strategy development across the investment lifecycle. Current Gryphon portfolio company board appointments include Repipe Specialists, Vivify (Board Observer) and Thermal Technology Distribution Systems. Previous portfolio company board involvement includes Heritage Distribution Holdings and Kano Laboratories. During his first tenure at Gryphon, from 2002–2014, Jef assisted with the execution and performance improvement of various investments, including Bright Now! Dental, Eight O’Clock Coffee, Flagstone Foods, Intelligrated, K&N Engineering, MSD Ignition, SynteractHCR, Trinity Consultants and Trusthouse Services.
Prior to re-joining Gryphon, Jef was a Senior Partner in the Strategy and Operations group at EY, where he focused on transformational value creation and over $25 billion of integrations and divestitures. Earlier, he was a Senior Vice President at Citadel, a Vice President at Recovery Equity Partners and a Consultant at Booz & Co. He started his career as a Brand Manager with roles at Bristol-Myers Squibb and Procter & Gamble.
