Omer Cohen

Omer joined Gryphon in 2026 and is the Head of Internal Human Capital and Managing Director. In this role, Omer is responsible for talent strategy, people initiatives and advancing the firm’s culture and values.

Prior to Gryphon, Omer was a three-time Chief People Officer for growth companies in the technology and financial sectors. Most recently, Omer served as Chief People Officer at SmartBiz Bank during its transformational acquisition of a bank and at Eventbrite through its IPO. Omer was also Chief People Officer of Lytro, an imaging technology company, and Chief Operating Officer and ultimately President of the global HR consulting and research firm the Great Place to Work Institute.
