Wind River Environmental Enters the Georgia Market with Acquisition of Hamby’s Commercial Waste, Inc.

Marlborough, MA and Hiram, GA -

Wind River Environmental (“Wind River”), the leading provider of non-hazardous liquid environmental waste solutions in the United States, announced today that it has acquired Hamby’s Commercial Waste, Inc. (“Hamby’s”) in Hiram, Georgia.

Located in metropolitan Atlanta, Hamby’s has been owned and operated for over 50 years by the Hamby and Wadsworth families. David Parry, Chief Executive Officer for Wind River, stated, “With its large base of recurring commercial customers and its extensive grease disposal capabilities, Hamby’s is an important platform to accelerate our growth in the Southeast region.” He added, “Hamby’s is a well-run company with significant market share in Georgia.
