Jeff joined Gryphon in 2023 as an Operating Partner to Gryphon’s Heritage Fund team. He works closely with senior management teams of Heritage fund portfolio companies to maximize short-and long-term operating and financial performance, while also working with the Gryphon deal team in identifying new portfolio businesses that align with Gryphon’s investment priorities. Jeff is an accomplished operating executive with more than 34 years of experience driving profitable growth and building high performance organizations within materials and capital equipment manufacturing businesses serving a diverse set of industrial, medical and electronics end markets.
Prior to Gryphon, Jeff’s experience included:- Nordson Corporation, Executive Vice President and Corporate Officer – 18 years in commercial and operational leadership roles across all segments of this leading global precision technology company. Drove significant organic revenue growth and margin expansion in industrial businesses, while creating the vision and build-out of an industry leading medical technology business through a series of strategic acquisitions and integrations. Led the company’s largest operating segment with over $1.3 billion in revenue and ~3,500 employees. Played a lead role in the development and implementation of a company-wide operating framework for scaled, profitable growth.
- General Electric Company – 16 years in various leadership roles of increasing responsibility in finance, sales, marketing and general management at GE’s Advanced Materials division within the U.S. and Asia. Developed and implemented several organic market development growth strategies, building and leading commercial organizations to capture identified growth opportunities. Drove commercial effectiveness initiatives as Director of Commercial Operations for the $2 billion Americas business segment, leading to the creation of the most profitable customer segment in North America.
