Matt is responsible for analyzing and executing new investments in the Consumer Products sectors for Gryphon and is currently focused on new investment platforms in the CPG and Beauty categories. Matt currently monitors Gryphon’s control investments in RoC Skincare, Milani Cosmetics, Dessert Holdings, and Matrixx Initiatives (Zicam). Matt co-led Gryphon’s 2010 investment in Flagstone Foods through its successful exit to TreeHouse for $860 million in 2014. Matt also co-led investments in K&N Engineering (2011) and Fleet Laboratories (2014) and served as a Director of both companies through their successful exits in 2016 and 2017 to Goldman Sachs and Prestige Brands, respectively. Previously, Matt assisted with the monitoring of Gryphon portfolio companies Sheplers, TrustHouse Services, Joe’s Sports, and Eight O’Clock Coffee.
