Matt is responsible for analyzing and executing new investments in the Consumer Products sectors for Gryphon and is currently focused on new investment platforms in the CPG and Beauty categories. Matt currently monitors Gryphon’s control investments in Mechanix Wear, Metagenics, Milani Cosmetics, Revision Skincare & Goodier Cosmetics, and RoC Skincare. He is also Co-Head of Gryphon’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee. Matt co-led Gryphon’s 2010 investment in Flagstone Foods through its successful exit to TreeHouse for $860 million in 2014. Matt also co-led investments in Dessert Holdings, K&N Engineering, Fleet Laboratories, and Matrixx Initiatives/ZICAM, and served as a Director on their respective company boards. Previously, Matt assisted with the monitoring of Gryphon portfolio companies Sheplers, TrustHouse Services, Joe’s Sports, and Eight O’Clock Coffee.
