Jon Cheek
Deal Partner & Co-Head of Software Group
Jon joined Gryphon in 2019 and is Co-Head of the Software Group and a member of Gryphon’s Flagship Heritage Management Committee. He is responsible for originating, executing and managing investments and is currently focused on new investments in B2B application software in sectors such as Financial Services, Supply Chain, Transportation & Logistics, Education, Field Service Management, Governance, Risk & Compliance, Construction, and Human Capital Management among several others. Current Gryphon portfolio company board appointments include Meazure Learning, RegEd and Rootstock. Jon previously served on the boards of FieldRoutes and Ncontracts.
Prior to joining Gryphon, Jon was a Principal at Serent Capital, where he led eight platform investments in software and technology-enabled services companies including Apex HCM, Avionte, CoConstruct, Compeat, FranConnect, Motility, Safety Services and TalentWave. Previously, he worked at Vector Capital and McKinsey & Company.
