Operating Partner, Co-Head of Consumer Group
Mike joined Gryphon as an Operating Partner in 2020 and is Co-Head of the Consumer Group. In his role, Mike works closely with the management teams of the group’s portfolio companies to maximize short- and long-term operating and financial performance. He also assists Gryphon deal teams in identifying, evaluating and executing investments. Current Gryphon portfolio company board appointments include Metagenics, Milani Cosmetics, Revision Skincare, Goodier and Vetnique Labs. Previous board appointments include RoC Skincare.
Mike has over 30 years of experience delivering profitable growth across numerous consumer packaged goods companies.

- CAVU Venture Partners, Operating Partner – As CAVU’s first Operating Partner, he worked closely with the senior leadership team of Vital Proteins to set its multi-year strategy.
- WhiteWave Foods, President, Horizon Organic – More than doubled revenue while improving profitability at America’s largest organic food business, leading to its acquisition by Danone in 2017.
- Abbott Nutrition, VP and GM, Healthy Living Franchise – Drove profitable growth by strengthening go-to-market strategy along with acquiring and integrating multiple brands and businesses.
- Campbell Soup, VP, Red & Condensed Soup Business – Led turnaround of a multi–decade decline by improving brand relevance through upgraded product and packaging quality and strengthened marketing.
