Leigh Abramson

Leigh joined Gryphon in 2020 and is Co-Head of the Industrial Growth Group. He recently served as a Co-Director of Gryphon’s Flagship Heritage Management Committee from 2022-2023 and remains a member of the Committee. He is responsible for originating, executing and managing investments and is currently focused on new platform investments across the Industrial Growth sectors of focus, including Food Processing & Agribusiness, Industrial Technology, Infrastructure & Utility Products, Materials, Chemicals and Packaging, Transportation & Logistics and Value-Added Distribution. Current Gryphon portfolio company board appointments include AirX Climate Solutions, Pacur, Techmer PM, Transportation Insight and Vessco Water. Leigh previously served on the board of Potter Global Technologies. 

Prior to joining Gryphon, Leigh was a Founding Partner of Metalmark Capital, where he led industrial and agriculture investments, including Aqua Capital, Camin Cargo Control, Hoffmaster, Mostranardi Produce, Ni America, Renewable BioFuels, Tegrant and Valagro, and oversaw Collagen Matrix and Premier Research. Prior to Metalmark Capital, Leigh was a Partner at Morgan Stanley Capital Partners, focused on middle-market investments.
