Sharon joined Gryphon in 2021 as a Managing Director, bringing more than 20 years of experience leading and empowering talent globally. She is focused on internal human capital matters within Gryphon, including managing the firm’s internal talent development and talent management strategies. In her role she oversees benefits, employee experience, performance management, training, and leadership development. She also supports the talent acquisition and diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts for the firm.
Prior to Gryphon, Sharon’s experience included:- Technology Crossover Ventures (TCV), Vice President, Talent & People Operations – Led all human capital management initiatives including talent acquisition, assessment, talent management, organizational transformation, and culture.
- McKinsey & Company, Manager of Professional Development – Responsible for managing a full range of professional development and staffing activities in collaboration with the West Coast Partner Group for over 500 consultants from 2011-2019. Developed and coached Business Analysts, Associates, and Engagement Managers to facilitate their professional development – which included managing the formal and informal evaluation and feedback processes. Partnered with location leaders to help create and maintain a vibrant professional community and ultimately served as an adviser and sounding board for local community building activities.
- McKinsey & Company, Senior Recruiter – Managed and executed the firm’s recruiting strategy at Stanford Graduate School of Business and the Haas School of Business, sourcing, assessing and deploying talent across the firm globally.
